Last night I didn't know what to do with myself. Couldn't concentrate on the book I'm reading. Didn't feel like writing. Hand sewing held no attraction.
Finally I rummaged in my fabric stash, found a yard-and-a-half of pretty fabric and grabbed my scissors. Snipping, measuring and sewing kept me busy for most of the evening.
Now I've got a pretty new shirt to wear around the farm. This yellow is sure to make me smile, don't you think?
What have you been up to?
Before I forget, I added a few items to my Etsy shop over the weekend. I'm having a ball with the venture--thanks to everyone who urged me to take the plunge!

Beautiful blouse. You are so talented.
Oh my goodness. I totally wish I could just poof a blouse like that together. It's lovely!
I hate how easy you making sewing sound ... I'm SO jealous.
Sarita you haven't lost your touch have you? You always could sew up a storm! Love the blouse.
