Sniffing Sand - first peek!

Jinger Heaston designed this cover and it's as if she's read the book because this is just what I've always seen in my heart as a cover for this story. She's perfectly captured the mood and details of the novel. The body on the beach? Oh, I've seen this body before -- but only in my mind's eye. What a delight to see everything I've imagined come together on one perfect cover!

Sniffing Sand releases from Whiskey Creek Press in July. It's the first in a series of stories set on Chincoteague Island so I'm pretty jazzed about the whole project. Sandswept, the second book, is set to release in December.

For now, the cover and blurb...and a multitude of thanks to the talented lady whose vision so closely matches mine. Thank you Jinger! :)

I just couldn't wait to share this cover with everyone! I am completely over the moon about it, just out-of-my-mind thrilled by the whole thing. Jinger Heaston created it and I've got to say I think she did an amazing job. She matched what I asked for with what the story is about and gave it her own special flair and this is what she's come up with. I am beyond pleased--I love this cover! Thank you Jinger!

Snowdance releases on August 1st, just oh...twenty-nine days from now. Not like I'm counting or anything... *G*

Whiskey Shots Volume 6

Just a few weeks till Whiskey Shots Volume 6 releases. It comes out on June 1st and is available elcectronically from Whiskey Creek Press.

The Whiskey Shots volumes are single volumes of two short stories each. Popularity of short stories continues to rise, in part, I think, because people are so rushed in their daily lives that they don't always have time to commit to a full lenght novel. But a little story here and there? That's an easy squeeze. Whatever the reason, short stories are popular and I'm glad for that because I love to write them!

So I'm finally posting the cover for my WS Volume. I like the rugged western feel of the covers, and it is a treat to see my name on one!
