I told you that we had a humdinger of a little snowstorm on Sunday. The hills behind our house sparkle. Towering oaks and pines look like they’ve been dipped in sugar. And all the summer gardens are covered, their tilled soil finally hidden from view. It is so pretty here it almost defies description.
I know a lot of people don’t like snow. I know they don’t like to drive in it. Schlep to work wearing less-than-fashionable snow boots. Clear their cars, walks or driveways. I understand all that. Really, I do.
But me? I love snow like a fish loves water. I’m thrilled that the forecaster didn’t get this one right, that we got much more snow than was anticipated. I figure a few more storms and we’ll have enough on the ground to go snow-shoeing. And me? I adore snow-shoeing. Am simply crazy for the sport.
What about you? Snow? Or no snow?

NO SNOW.
Never. Ever. If it never snowed again as long as I lived, I'd be thrilled.
I. Do. Not. Like. Snow.
I feel a bit like the cranky guy in Green Eggs and Ham.
Yes snow! I love being home, curled up with a good book and some hot chocolate while the snow falls. I don't like driving in it, but the snow is beautiful. I also prefer cool weather to hot, and I do love winter in general.

I love snow. I don't like walking in it but I do like how it looks when it first falls and covers the grounds and trees.
Having spent 40 plus years of my life in a part of the country that had 5 months of snow (and the -30 degree temperatures to go with it), I must say that I am happy to be on the west coast where the occasional snowfalls we get are a real treat. I'm hoping for a white Christmas!
It doesn't snow here and I've never seen real snow, only photos of the stuff. I'm thinking I probably wouldn't like it though, not if you get all wet and yukky if you walked in it! But you never know until you test it out. Maybe one day!

I'm so not in the mood for snow. We got some today and it was pretty, but I had to drive in it. Not cool. But I do prefer it to the sleet and freezing rain we have coming. Winter Schwinter.
I love snow! It may snow next week. I sure hope so!
No snow for me, thankyouverymuch. Give me sunshine and warm any day of the year and I'm all over it!
