Just a few more days...

until Sniffing Sand is released!
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Did you find time to relax? Or was yours a weekend filled with all the catching-up stuff you let slide during the week? Isn't it amazing how things pile up when you're...well, busy? I try and get everything done during the week so weekends are clear but every once in a while life gets ahead of me.

Not so this weekend. We spent time with family, just visiting and laughing, and it was oh-so relaxing. Just lovely. Family. It really is where your story starts.

And good news on the farm! We're picking strawberries! I know that may not sound like a big deal to some but I promise you there's nothing like tasting sun-warmed strawberries right off the plant. They're as sweet as candy and so juicy. Last night I made strawberry shortcake and it was to die for. Yum!

Today I'll read through the Sniffing Sand galley. It feels so good to see a manuscript all polished and ready to go. Hopefully I won't find many errors that need to be corrected. By tomorrow I'll have the errata completed and on its way. Then all I've got to do is sit back and wait for July 1st! Ooh, I'm so excited! Can you tell?

To celebrate the release of Sniffing Sand I'm holding a little giveaway. The details are in the sidebar. Please join in the fun, help me celebrate the release of my third novel. I loved writing this book and I really am super excited to share it with everyone. I love Chincoteague Island...the place, the people, the ponies...there's just nowhere else like it. It will always hold a piece of my heart. I hope that after readers get a taste of it all in Sniffing Sand it will steal a sliver of their hearts, too.

So what have you got planned for this gorgeous Monday morning? Hmm?

Hope you have a great day! :)

It sounds like you had a great weekend. We spent our time doing yardwork.

I can't wait to read your new book. I loved Vineyard Mambo. Is there going to be another Anna and Tony mystery?

Gorgeous cover, Sarita! You must be so excited.

I love strawberries - I made a pie over the weekend. We don't have our strawberry patch any longer so have to buy ours in the store! I'm glad you have your own.

I simply adore this cover. I can't wait to get my copy.

Monday means going back to work. But then again I get to pick up my new media card for my new camera.

I hope your MOnday is a good one.

Oh, we're getting rain from up North..I don't know if it's in your area.

Good job, Sarita. Another great read for your many fans.
Monday's been and gone here but it was only work for me. Today will be much of the same.
Rain the thunderstorms for us later this evening.

There is absolutely nothing better than strawberries fresh off the vine, red all the way through. ALL THE WAY THROUGH. None of that white center. Juice that runs down your chin.

Love it.

That cover is gorgeous!
